Co-op / OYAP
At Holy Trinity, cooperative education is a major part of our alternative mode of learning. Students are given the chance to explore potential career and employment opportunities. Students will also experience the practical aspects of a job and the demands of employment in a changing work world. They work at their placement for 5 days per week/2.5 hours per day with an in-school meeting once each month. After the semester is completed, students are expected to have 190 hours of training at their placement. In a semester, our school averages about 85 students.
We are always looking for potential workplaces for our students. If you are a community workplace employer who might be interested in hosting a student or would like more information about the program please contact us.
