Mathematics

The Mathematics department here at Holy Trinity Catholic High School has a lot to offer students within a wide range of abilities. 

We have # full time Math teachers, 5 sets of 30 TI-83+ graphing calculators, 16 CBR’s (Calculator Based Rangers), 4 TI-Presenters and full class sets of textbooks.  We also actively encourage students to participate in the University of Waterloo Math Contests for students in grades 9 through 12.  Our staff works hard to stay up-to-date on new technology, and best teaching practices so that the students receive the best possible foundation for their future studies.

Calculator Purchases

Students will be able to order a Sharp calculator for $12.00.  All grade 9 students are especially encouraged to purchase this calculator to promote consistency in their math class.  This calculator has features that are required for all grade levels of mathematics.  Any student from any grade wishing to order one can do so on the time table pick up days.
