Exploring Technologies

TIJ 1O  EXPLORING TECHNOLOGIES, Grade 9                        

Students will design and build products, and work in teams to solve technical challenges related to Construction, Manufacturing, Transportation and Technology Design. While working “hands-on” with a variety of tools, equipment, and software commonly used in industry, students will design, build and plan for a technology challenge event, which can be showcased to the entire school community. Students will work on projects in Technology Design, Manufacturing, Transportation and Construction Labs.  Students will begin to explore secondary and postsecondary education and training pathways leading to careers in technology-related fields.
