We want to give a huge ‘Shout Out’ and recognize all the Holy Trinity swimmers who attended the OFSAA provincial championships in Windsor on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. It is an incredible accomplishment to qualify and compete at this level!!

Our senior boys qualified for the 200 metre freestyle relay. Members of this relay team were Andrew O’Neail, Justin Boonstra, Tyler Kichler and Mate Marschalko.

Individual qualifiers were Chelsea Haskett, Rae Valent, Alexis Revai, Colin Anderson and Mate Marschalko. Following their preliminary swims, both Colin and Mate also qualified for finals in both of their events. Mate finished 8thplace in the 50 metre butterfly.

Our annual Hoops for Heart fundraiser will be happening again this year on March 10th.

Our Hoops for Heart fundraiser is a 3 on 3 basketball tournament that is as fun or as competitive as you want it to be. We offer a male, female, and coed division. To enter each player needs to fundraise a minimum of 25 dollars which goes directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Prizes will go to best dressed team, highest male and female fundraiser, and winning teams. Come down to the Phys Ed office to pick up your pledge forms. Due date for all forms will be March. 8th.

Holy Trinity is proud to once again host the band performances of the Norfolk Musical Arts Festival today. We would like to welcome the many bands that will be at HT to perform at the festival. Good luck to the members of the Concert Band and Jazz Band with their performances today. Students are asked to not enter the stage or lower cafeteria during class time. The lower cafeteria will be available to students at lunch. There will not be any bells rung during the day so teachers are asked to dismiss their classes at the scheduled times.
