Attention Titans, If you are interested in attending Costa Rica for March Break 2025- please attend the parent meeting tonight and sign up in the main office. The parent meeting begins at 6pm in the library. If you cannot attend the meeting but still wish to attend the trip- please send an e-mail to Mrs. Bouw today. 

Attention SHSM students who attended the air ornge trip. The second online training is now overdue. Please check your e-mail and complete this training ASAP as it has already been paid for. Thank you to those who have already completed it. Your diligence in checking your e-mail and respect of the process is very much appreciated. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Bouw. 

Last Thursday, the Junior girls rugby team played at the Centennial Cup in Guelph. The girls had a great day battling in two tough losses but came away with a win against defending OFSAA champions from Mayfield. The girls continued to show improvements as the prepare to jump into varsity team play and then play-offs. All the girls from the team who are attending the game today are dismissed at 10:40am to get ready to board the bus at 11am. Techers - please excuse the team at 10:40 am this morning for their game in Brantford against North Park.

Call all students who placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd at our track and field meet please come down to the gym after announcements to complete final confirmations for your events at the AABHN Championships this Thursday and Friday. 

The boys field lacrosse team started their season in a dominant fashion, going 3-0 on the day; beating Waterford 9-3, Hagersville 12-1, and finally Paris 12-3. Shout outs on offence go to Landen Griffen, Jase Macaulay and Jack Biro.  Excellent balance attack from Ryan Hale, Steven Reidy and Callum Gee. Awesome defensive play by Taylor Harding, Asher Martin and Graeson Martin. Stellar goaltending by Owen Smuck and Joel Kenline. First career goals also scored by Phoenix Luke, Jacob Currie and Braydon McCallum. The Most impressive shout out of the day goes to our FOGO guy (face off get off) Braydon MacCallum as he only lost 3 draws all day! 

The boys are reminded of their practice Tuesday after school in preparation for their upcoming games against Assumption and McKinnon Park. Keep the train moving boys! 

Put this date in your calendar! A parent information meeting will be held Wednesday, May 22 at 6:00 for all students who are interested in joining next year's March Break tour to Berlin, Prague, Krakow, and Budapest.  Students who sign up before the end of May will receive a $150 tour discount. The price is all inclusive for flights, bus travel in Europe, accommodations, breakfast, supper, and admission to tourist sites.  See Mrs. Sullivan in RM160 for information 

Any student interested in Fishing at the Valley Heights Tournament on May 29th, please see Ms. Hanson ASAP to sign up.  This event is first come, first served.  

On Thursday, the Titans finished their season with a six game winning streak. The HT girls soccer team beat SCS 7-3. Exceptional goaltending by Graece Fowler. The next game is the semifinal on Thursday, May 16 at Hagersville secondary school.

On Friday, the HT Mock Trial team competed in the regional competition. Ryan Toft was acknowledged as the best Charlie, the accused, on the stand. Alescia Butler was exceptional in her role as a witness. Kate Earle, Stephanie Ferreira, Lucious Czerlau and Banessa Pattemore demonstrated authenticity in their roles as Crown and Defence lawyers. Thanks to Jil Michaels, Pheinix Fletch and Carly Barnes in their support roles for the team. HT is very proud of your performance.
