Attention Titans! For those interested in trying out for the Boys Varsity Baseball team, there is a sign-up sheet outside the phys ed office. Sign up this week only. Attention all Grade 9 and 10 boys interested in trying out for the Junior Boy’s Soccer Team: There is an information meeting on Wednesday at lunch in Room 253. Again all junior boys interested in Junior Boys Soccer there is a meeting in Room 253 this Wednesday at lunch.
Varsity Boys Football tryouts will begin on Wednesday and Thursday this week right after school on the main field until 4:30pm. Anyone interested in trying out needs to collect permission forms in the phys ed office. All students wishing to participate must have a form signed and handed in to participate in tryouts. Please dress accordingly and bring cleats or running shoes. Any questions, come down to the phys-ed office and ask Mr. Backus.
A message from Guidance: Student Schedules were emailed to parents and student emails last Thursday. If you don’t have your schedule, please check your email. Guidance has made every effort to balance schedules. If you require a schedule change please have a parent email your guidance counsellor and be specific about what you would like to change. Changes will be prioritized based on the following:
1. Failed a course that needs to be put in a timetable.
2. Took a summer course that needs to be taken out of a timetable.
3. A student who wishes to make a level change, i.e., applied to academic, university to college.
4. A student in Grades 9 – 11 with courses missing.
Parents must email their request by Friday, September 5th. Students must go to their currently scheduled classes until guidance calls you down to make a change. Please note not all changes are possible as many classes are full. Guidance will also not be making changes to be with friends or for teacher preference.
