Attention all members of the swim team - a reminder that tonight’s practice is cancelled due to Remembrance Day closure, and for this week only we will practice tomorrow -Wednesday morning at 6:30am to 7:25am.  See you all there!

Senior Boys Basketball tryouts will begin this week after school at the following times: Today at 4:00pm and Thursday 3:00 - 4:30pm.  Please get a permission form in the PE office. 

Attention boys who signed up to tryout for the Varsity Boys Hockey Team.  The second tryout is this THURSDAY from 3:00 - 4:00 pm at TALBOT GARDENS IN SIMCOE.  Players must complete the tryout forms found outside the Phys-Ed office and returned to a coach prior to going on the ice.  If you have any questions, contact coaches Mr. VanParys, Mr. Lichty or Mr. Martinow. 

Attention grade 12's!  Grad photos have started this week. If you have not booked your photo session, you will need to do so ASAP to get a spot.  Please check your email for the booking link.

Hello Book Club!  Can't wait to see you in the library tomorrow at lunch to discuss the first six chapters of  'A Drop in the Ocean!'  Also, this is a reminder that there is to be no food in the library.  Although we are open at lunch, you need to eat before you come to the library.

Attention health and wellness SHSM students and all students in Mrs. Bouw’s health care and health science classes this semester - as well as Mr. Backus’s Kinesiology class- today is the final day for forms and payment for our McMaster anatomy lab and tour on Nov. 20th. Please bring your forms to your teacher today to confirm your spot. Any questions- please see Mrs. Bouw or Mr. Backus. 

Attention Grade 10s who attend after-school tutoring in TLC.  Starting this week, Grade 10 tutoring sessions will now be held on Tuesday and Thursdays, together with the Grade 11s and 12s.  Mondays and Wednesdays will now be reserved for Grade 9s only.  Please mark your calendars and plan accordingly. See you there!

Listen up HT Art Club, this week we are meeting Tuesday and Friday at lunch in RM 142, working on our 2nd project the oil pastel poinsettias! Grab your lunch and come right away so we can get started. 

This year, our Board will be celebrating Rock Your Mocs Day on Wednesday, November 12th.  Rock Your Mocs Week is a global celebration of Indigenous identity, culture, and pride expressed through the tradition of wearing moccasins. On Wednesday, we invite students and staff to ‘Rock their Mocs’ as a powerful way to honour heritage and stand in solidarity. #RockYourMocs

Looking for a new winter sport to play?  You're in luck! HT is looking for students to come out and learn a sport unique to Canadians — curling!  Please sign up outside the Phys-ed office and grab a permission form. Practices will be on Thursdays from 3:30-5:00pm at the Simcoe Curling Club located at the fairgrounds. HT needs a team, so come out and play!
