Are you interested in a career in policing?  One of our very own Alumni, Constable Andrew Gamble, will be at HT next Friday morning to meet with students who have questions and inquiries about a career in Policing.  Please speak to Ms. Berta in guidance if you are interested and to sign up!

Hey artists! This one’s for YOU!  If you love creating, expressing yourself, or telling stories through art, there are two exciting opportunities waiting for you right now:

1. students can submit artwork to the EDGE Youth Art Exhibition in Etobicoke! This is a juried show where your work could be displayed in a real gallery, shared with the public, and celebrated alongside other talented youth artists. This year's theme is joy and public spaces. Submission to Mrs. Cameron’s is for the middle of March. Only eight students' artworks will be chosen to represent her school and only one chosen as the top submission for a potential scholarship.

2. For Black History Month, young Black artists are invited to submit artwork inspired by one powerful question: What does “Black Joy” mean to you?  All submissions will be featured at the Black History Month event, and the top three artists will be invited to present their work in person. All art forms are welcome—drawing, painting, photography, graphic design, sculpture, and more!  If you’re interested or want more information, come see Mrs. Cameron in Room 142, or email her directly through Outlook.

Attention grade 12's applying to University for STEM related programs!  The prestigious Schulich Leader Scholarship is open for nominations!  If you plan to enroll in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math program, you may be eligible!  The Schulich Leader Scholarship is worth $120,000 for engineering students or $100,000 for science, technology, or math (STEM) students, paid out over four years at a partner university in Canada.  Please visit the scholarship board in guidance and speak to Ms. Berta ASAP if interested.

Have an awesome day Titans!
