Attention writers! The Laurier Steadman Prize deadline is March 24th. Come to the library every Friday to work with other writers and teacher mentors to fine tune your prize-winning story! Remember first prize wins $3,500! We will also be discussing the next edition of the Bolt for those who want to contribute to the school newspaper. We meet every Friday at lunch. If you are unable to attend but wish to participate, come find Ms. Noonan in Room 211 at the start of lunch.
This announcement is for all students who are taking Grade 10, 11 and 12 French and Grade 9 extended French. There is an incredible opportunity this semester to travel to Montreal, Quebec in April for a school trip. This trip includes a Montreal Canadians game, the Biodome, a tour of Old Montreal, AURA at the Notre Dame Basilica, and so much more. This is a 4-day 3-night trip including transport, accommodation and 2 meals per day from April 9th to 12th of this year. Please see Madame Vezsenyi for details and the itinerary.
Attention students: In order to request a change in your timetable a parent must email your guidance counsellor and provide a clear explanation as to why a change needs to be made and replacement course options (1st choice; 2nd choice). Parents must email their request by this Friday, Feb. 6th. Please note, we have attempted to give all students the courses they selected. The order of courses may have changed due to scheduling changes and balancing of sections. Not all scheduling changes will be possible due to courses being at capacity. Schedule changes will not be made to be with friends, for extracurriculars, or for teacher preference.
Have an awesome day Titans!
