Attention Titans! The last Health Care scrubs spirit wear order will take place this week. Please pick up an order form at the office. All orders are due by this Friday! Any questions, please see Mrs. Bouw.

Attention students interested in joining the Health Care Club. We will be having our first meeting of semester 2 on Wednesday Feb. 18th. Our guest speaker for the meeting is a labour and delivery nurse. Please join our HEJA app- the code is outside of room 246. New members all always welcome. 

Do you have a spare period one? Would you like to earn some community hours? See Mrs. Cameron in room 142. She's looking for students willing to help her make hats for our diabetes charity fundraiser.

Do you like to sing? Are you looking for volunteer opportunities? The Erie Tri-County Catholic Family of Parishes is starting up a music ministry to sing and play once a month at Sacred Heart Church in Langton. If interested in this ministry, you can find more information in guidance or the music room bulletin boards.

Attention all SHSM health and wellness students and any students interested in a career in health care. There will be a reach ahead field trip on Wednesday March 4th to the Conestoga Health Expo. If you are interested- please sign up in the main office. Priority will be given to current SHSM students. There are 36 spots available to attend. This is great opportunity to explore some great college programs in the health care field. Students in Grades 10 and 11 are encouraged to attend as you decide your career pathways. Any questions- please see Mrs. Bouw for more info. 

Volunteer opportunity - There will be a charity 5K run/walk in Port Dover on April 18th. All proceeds from this event will go directly to a cancer support and research program. They are looking for student volunteers to help staff the water stations during the event.  The event runs from 8am to 12pm on April 18th.  Please see Michele in Guidance for more information.

Hey Titans! February is here, and so is our FEB HT Arts Contest with the theme LOVE — expressed through Visual Art, Music, Drama, or Dance.  Submit one original piece showing any kind of love: friendship, family, faith, self-love, or community.  All submissions are due on Thursday, February 27 at 3:00 PM.  Physical artwork goes to Mrs. Cameron in Room 142, and digital music or video entries must be emailed to Mrs. Cameron through Outlook.  Take a chance, share your creativity, and let your art speak LOVE!
