Hey Grade 10 Homerooms.  Don't forget that you have earned an extra dress down day this week on Wednesday, April 22nd.  Wristbands will be handed out to grade 10 homerooms on Wednesday morning.

Attention Girls Soccer Team!  Please come for a brief meeting in Mrs. McCallum's Room 254 at the start of lunch today to pick up schedules and uniforms.

There will be track practices this week, Monday to Thursday from 3:00 - 4:30pm. Track practices are essential to be able to compete in the school track and field meet at Pauline Johnson on May 1st. Permission forms and event sign up are found in the gym office. Please speak with Mr. Backus if you have any questions. 

Would you like to experience a new culture and work with a developing community? If so, our Guatemala Encounter trip, running in January of 2027 is for you! If you would like more information about this trip, check out the posters around the school, speak to Chap Ian, and attend the information session being held at lunch on Tuesday in Room 231.  This trip is open to students who will be in grade 11 or 12 next year, so if you are in grades 10 or 11 come to the lunch time information session! If you can’t make the session, speak with Chap Ian or send an email to the address on the poster. 

Have you ever wanted to see how you might measure up at a Chess tournament? Anyone interested in competing in a chess tournament at SCS at the end of May, come see Chap Ian for a registration form or stop by Games Club Room 231 at lunch this week. There are only 10 spots available on the team - first come first serve.

Guidance encourages students/parents in grade 10 & 11 who are interested in University to attend Ontario Universities virtual event on May 6th from 5-7.  Learn about programs, student life, the application process and much more, and ask questions that you may have.  The event is divided into four 30-minute sessions, where you can learn about the universities of your choice.  Check out the Ontario Universities webpage for more information.

Attention Grade 11 and 12 students who have been actively involved in school life here at Holy Trinity, applications for the School Letter for grade 12 students, and the Titan Award for grade 11 students can be found on trinitycatholic.ca under the student life tab. These prestigious awards are given to recognize the contributions of well rounded students to life here at Holy Trinity.  Students will need to have coaches and club advisors sign for their involvement in these clubs and teams, therefore it is important not to wait until the last minute. Application forms are due to guidance by 3:00pm on May 8th.  Late forms will not be accepted.  If you have any questions please see your guidance counsellor. 

The Brant County Singers awards an annual scholarship to a graduating secondary school student planning to pursue music education at the post-secondary level. Please come to guidance to pick up the application and speak with Ms. Berta for more details.  The application can also be completed and submitted online. Deadline is May 22/26.
