It's Wednesday and we are learning Italian! All travellers on the Italy 2027 trip are encouraged to join MRS. VEZSENYI in RM148 at 11:45 during lunch today an Italian language lesson! Bring your lunch- all lessons will be approximately 15 minutes. Let's learn some Italian!

The Ogwehoweh Skills and Trades Training Centre is hosting two 'Try a Trade' days in the areas of Fabrication and Welding again this year.  These days will consist of two hands-on workshops, a tour, short program presentation, OYAP information and lunch.  If you are interested in attending this welding and fabricating event in June please see Mr. Chernak. 

Attention students! As part of Health Science, Grade 12's are conducting a sleep survey. If you are interested in participating, please scan any QR code that has been placed around the school. There is also one just outside room 246 in the Science WIng. Your participation is greatly appreciated. The survey only takes about 3 mins! Thank you in advance!

Many of you have enjoyed playing with the sensory bottles (made by Ms. McColeman's daughter) that are on display in the library.  In honour of mental health month, we will be having a DIY Sensory Bottle Workshop this Thursday, at lunch, in the library.  If you'd like to attend, register with Ms. McColeman in the library, or on the library instagram account, as space is limited.

Throughout May, the library will be celebrating memoirs with a 6-word memoir writing contest!  See Ms. McColeman for details and for entry forms.

Attention Book Club-we are having our end of the year celebration this Friday, at lunch, in the library.  Let Ms. McColeman know if you can attend, so she buys enough pizza!

Grade 12 graduating students! Do you live in or around the Vittoria area? The Roger Cruickshank scholarship for $2500 is accepting applications now!  Students must be graduating, accepted into a post-secondary program, and meet the grade criteria.  Please speak to Ms. Berta in guidance or see the scholarship board for more info.

THE JEFF SCOTT MEMORIAL Bursary of $3000 and $4000 is now open!  For students attending high school in Norfolk County who are furthering their education in a variety of medical related fields at university or community college this fall.  BURSARY APPLICATIONS AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS DUE MAY 31st.  Please see the guidance bulletin board or talk to Ms. Berta in Guidance asap.
