The girls varsity rugby team dominated the pitch last night against Delhi by defeating the Raiders- 27-10. Alexis Revai and Amanda Rogers scored their first trys of the season and Teagyn Vanrooy added 3 trys. Big shout out to our tackler of the game - Keiara Harris-McEwan who had 7 tackles in a row in the second half of play. Congrats to all girls as the win was a solid team effort all around.
Come on our and cheer our girls on Wednesday as they play their last 2 games of the regular season here at HT! Good luck Titans!
Yesterday the girl's soccer team played against the Delhi raiders and the Simcoe Sabres. The girls defeated the raiders by a score of 5-1, goals scored by Gwynne Sheldrake, Aaliyah Hoover, Erica Vanetten and Ella Brown.
The girls were then defeated by the sabres, however, the level of elevated play displayed by the girls was outstanding. Special shutouts to Gabby Moore, Jen VanDewiele, Racheal Rogers, Grace Gowan and Aviah Beamer for displaying shut down defence.
Yesterday the boys soccer team wrapped up the regular season with 0-0 tie and 4-0 loss to Delhi and SCS respectively. Outstanding performances by David Barrios, Kevin Boyd, Julian van haverbaeke, and Nick Bint. The boys finished second place and will play in the quarter finals next week.
"Today is the last day to sign up for Track and Field events, our meet is this Thursday. Practices are today and tomorrow after school, weather permitting. The 3000 M run will take place after school tomorrow."
Attention students interested in pursuing a job in health care and who are interested in a paid position from May 30th to June 25th.
> Lynn View Terrace located on Argyle St. In Simcoe is in need of people to help transport residents with mobility issues up and down stairs while the elevator is under repair. They are interested in hiring students from 9-12pm and well as the 4-7 shift. The pay is $18/hour.
Please see Mrs. Bouw in room 246 by Friday if you are able to help out without missing school. This looks great on a resume when you apply for any health care position. Training will be provided.

There is a Track and Field practice after school today.
Our school meet is taking place this Thursday. Be sure to sign up in the phys. ed. office today and no later than tomorrow for your events in order to take part.
For any athletes running the 3000 M event it will take place after school on Wednesday."

Take a seat and listen to our Vocal Ensemble. Enjoy an amusing and whimsical performance of The Lorax and finish the evening with the toe-tapping sounds of our Concert Band. All this takes place in our lower caf and is free admission. Feed your soul and rejuvenate to our Titan Talents!
Students who took Visual Art in the first or second quad, you are invited to share your best piece in the gallery. Please see Fitz or Mrs. Townsend to display your art in the gallery. Bring in your masterpiece by Tuesday to get an easel for display.
Congrats to Brianne Vamos for her first place finish in both Senior Girls long jump and triple jump on Friday at Track Wars in Cambridge. We'll done!

Attention students signed up for
Monday’s Cadaver Lab trip to the University of Waterloo.
Important reminders-
1) spirit wear or uniform is REQUIRED to board the bus.
2) No sandals allowed - closed toed shoes are a must in the lab. Running shoes are fine.
3) We leave at 8:45 am- please arrange for a ride to be on time.
4) Mask mandates are in place at the University- so please bring one.
5) You can either bring a lunch or bring money to purchase one. We will be stopping at a plaza on the way back to the school.

The boys soccer team lost to SCS 4-2 and beat Valley 3-1 yesterday. Goal scorers were Ayden Carr, Hugo Simoes, David Barrios, Dustin Vangoethem, and Owen Pacheco. Standout performances by Andre Feere, Brendan Hare, and Alex Caro.

Track and Field is next Thursday May 5th. Anyone who is interested needs to sign up in the Phys Ed office. The last day to sign up is Tuesday May 3rd. You will not be able to compete unless you are signed up.

The Varsity girls rugby team has 2 more wins under their belt after both games this past Monday and Wednesday.
On Monday- The girls defeated North Park 10-5 with try’s from Teagan Vanroy and Tomiwa Perez. Outstanding team effort from all players despite the pouring rain.
On Wednesday- the Titan’s defeated Waterford 22-5. Teagyn Vanroy dominated the pitch with her speed and agility scoring all 4 try’s. Great passing and rucking from all players all contributed to this victory.
Congrats to the girls on a successful week! Come and cheer the girls on this coming Monday at 5pm in Delhi.

Anyone wishing to participate in the schools Track and Field Meet On Thursday May 5th need to sign up in the phys-ed office for their events. Last day to sign up will be Tuesday May 3rd.
There will be a track and field practice tonight after school if the weather cooperates. Plese meet outside at the fieldhouse.
Attention girls rugby team - please meet today at 3:10 in the atrium for our game in Brantford. Be dressed for weather.
Also- we will be practicing Tuesday after school (instead of 7am). Due to asynchronous learning days- if you cannot get a ride to the school for practice- AND if you cannot get a ride to the school for our game Wednesday - please let one of the coaches know today in person.

Anyone interested in participating in the music ministry for our next school Mass, there will be a meeting today over the Grade 10/12 Lunch in the chapel. If you are on the grade 9/11 lunch and would like to participate in music ministry, there will be practices coming up over both lunches starting NEXT week.

"Badminton practices will be Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week. Seniors will be at 3:00 p.m. and Juniors will be at 4:00 p.m."
Attention to any students who have thought about studying in the United States. The SAT is going digital and there is a virtual information session being offered on Thursday April 7th at 7 p.m. They will review what is changing about the SAT and how to prepare.
You need to pre-register for this event. Please the handout on Miss Aitken's door for more information.
Elections Ontario is recruiting students over the age of 16 to work for the upcoming election in June. Jobs would start as early as May but would not interfere with school studies. If you are interested, please see the job Board in Guidance.
The Summer Company is offering students the financial support to start up their own business this summer. Students can receive up to $3000 to launch their idea, plus benefit from mentoring by local business leaders. The application can be found online and more information can be found in Guidance on the Job Board.
The A/V Club is recruiting! If you are interested in learning and helping with our school’s A/V needs, please attend a training after school on Thursday, April 7th. Meet in Guidance at 3:05.
