Junior and Senior Girls Basketball tryouts will be after school TODAY from 3:00pm - 4:15pm.  Please get a permission form from Mr. Flynn in the Phys Ed office!

Any student interested in joining the Holy Trinity Cross Country team are asked to please sign up outside the Phys-Ed Office on the bulletin board and to take the information package and permission forms below the sign up form.  We will have a brief meeting for anyone interested in joining on Wednesday at lunch in the Weight Room.  Our first practice will be on Wednesday after school.  Please return signed forms to Ms. Deconinck-O'Neail in Guidance. 

Junior and Senior Boys Volleyball tryouts are this Wednesday, Thursday and next Monday. All tryouts will begin at 7am in the small gym. Please be sure to have all the paperwork filled out and handed in prior to the tryouts. Forms can be picked up in the gym and in Room 232. All forms once completed can be dropped off in room 232 or Chap Ian's Office.

Attention Titans! Anyone interested in becoming a Peer Tutor this year is asked to see Ms. Fry in TLC. This is an excellent opportunity to gain volunteer hours and help fellow HT students during lunch hour.

Need community service hours?  There will be a team of staff and students beautifying our school gardens after school on Tuesday September 9th for approximately 2 hours.  Any students looking for community service hours are asked to sign up for this event in Student Services.  Let's keep HT looking beautiful!

Great news Titans! The Breakfast Program will be up and running starting tomorrow! Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday morning between 8:25am and 8:50am, delicious and nutritious snacks will be provided out of the Tuck Shop at no cost to you. All are welcome to stop by and choose from our selection of fruit, veggies, cheese, yogurt, granola bars, crackers, and more. Miss the Breakfast Program? No problem. Check TLC, the office, and guidance for snack bins each day.

All those interested in being a part of the HT Music Ministry Music at our school Masses and Liturgies, there's a practice today at lunch starting at 11:40am. Practice will go until 12:05pm to give you time to grab some lunch before class.

There is no Games Club today or tomorrow. Games Club will resume Monday.

Varsity Football tryouts will continue after school today. Looks like the rain will be past so we will be on the field not the gymnasium. See you there.

Hey Titans! Are you interested in technology? What about helping out your school? Well, then, the Audio Visual club is the one for you. For those who wish to join, there will be a sign-up sheet on the door of room 141. Anyone who wishes to join must sign up, regardless of whether they were a part of A/V the previous year. A meeting will be taking place next Monday at lunch. See you then!

Attention Titans!  We need your help.  We want HT to look its best.  It’s especially important at the front of the school as this is the first impression that visitors get to our school community. Right now, you may notice that our gardens need a little attention. They are full of weeds and need some TLC.  If you would like to help clean up the gardens – and get community service hours at the same time – please sign up in guidance.  There is a sheet taped to the counter.  The date will be next Tuesday, September 9th and it will start right after school.  Thank you…in advance…for our helping our school look its best.

Welcome Back, Titans!  We hope you have had a restful and relaxing summer! This is going to be an awesome year!

Attention all Grade 9 and 10 boys interested in trying out for the Junior Boy’s Soccer Team: There is an information meeting on Wednesday at lunch in Room 253. Again all junior boys interested in Junior Boys Soccer there is a meeting in Room 253 this Wednesday at lunch.

Varsity Boys Football tryouts will begin on Wednesday and Thursday this week right after school on the main field until 4:30pm. Anyone interested in trying out needs to collect permission forms in the phys ed office. All students wishing to participate must have a form signed and handed in to participate in tryouts. Please dress accordingly and bring cleats or running shoes. Any questions, come down to the phys-ed office and ask Mr. Backus.

A message from Guidance: Student Schedules were emailed to parents and student emails last Thursday.  If you don’t have your schedule, please check your email.  Guidance has made every effort to balance schedules.  If you require a schedule change please have a parent email your guidance counsellor and be specific about what you would like to change. Changes will be prioritized based on the following:
1. Failed a course that needs to be put in a timetable.  
2. Took a summer course that needs to be taken out of a timetable.  
3. A student who wishes to make a level change, i.e., applied to academic, university to college.  
4. A student in Grades 9 – 11 with courses missing.  
Parents must email their request by Friday, September 5th.  Students must go to their currently scheduled classes until guidance calls you down to make a change.  Please note not all changes are possible as many classes are full.  Guidance will also not be making changes to be with friends or for teacher preference.

Attention Titans! Some exciting news from Mrs. Bouw! The department of Kinesiology and Health Science at the University of Waterloo has some exciting summer opportunities! 

The School of Anatomy has Anatomy 101 sessions for individual students who are interested in this area to register and attend in the months of July and August. 

Cardiovascular System – July 15th or August 25th

Musculoskeletal System – July 9th

Nervous System – July 24th or August 26th
