Are you interested in joining the HT Cheer team? Pick up a permission form package outside room 255. Tryouts will be held before and after school on Friday Sept 9. You MUST attend both tryouts to be considered. Bring your completed paperwork to the morning tryout.  

Any grade 9 or 10 boy wishing to tryout for the junior boys’ soccer team, needs to attend a mandatory meeting at lunch in room 253 on Wednesday. If you cannot attend, please see Mr. Suglio or Mr. Diron in room 253 at any time. 

Anyone wishing to join the student council this year, especially grade 9s, applications will be posted in your classrooms today. The posters will have a QR code on them, you scan it with your phone, click the link that pops up, which will take you to the application form. All applications will be due by Friday September 16th. 

For those interested in trying out for the HT golf team, there is a sign-up sheet outside the phys ed office.  Tryouts will need to happen very quickly as the tournament is scheduled for September 19th.  Please see Mr. Martinow or Ms. Edge for more information. 

All girls interested in trying out for the junior and senior girls’ basketball team are asked to grab a permission from Mr. Flynn in the Phys Ed office. Senior Girls tryouts will take place on Thursday Sept 8th and Monday Sept 12th afterschool from 3:00-4:30pm in the big gym. Junior girls’ basketball tryouts will take place on Wednesday Sept 14th and Thursday Sept 15th afterschool from 3:00-4:30pm in the big gym. Please see Mr. Flynn is you have any questions or concerns. 

Come join the Holy Trinity Music Ministry! 

The Music Ministry serves at our School Liturgies and Masses and practices are starting up at HT THIS Thursday, September 8th, in the Music Room (Room # 147). All grade levels are welcome. See Chap Ian for details or come on out Thursday if you would like to share your gifts of music. 

Attention Holy Trinity musicians! If you borrowed an instrument from the music department over the summer, please make arrangements to return it to the music room this week or contact Mr Webster.  

Any musicians who are interested in joining either the Holy Trinity Concert Band, Jazz Band, or Vocal Ensemble - there will be a short meeting in the music room at the beginning of lunch today to sign up and discuss rehearsal schedules. Rehearsals will begin next week for all groups - there are no rehearsals after school this week.  

Grade 12 students will be receiving an email today to vote for their valedictorian. Voting will occur today and must be done by 2:00 pm today. Please check your email for the link to vote for your valedictorian. 

There will be a final Music Ministry Practice in the music room, room #147 starting at 11:35am

Angling/Fishing Team- There is a MANDITORY Meeting for all students attending the tournament tomorrow in the Cafeteria immediately after announcements.

All athletes are invited to attend the 2022 HT Titans Athletic Banquet. This banquet is an opportunity for all student athletes to gather and celebrate the individual accomplishments and team achievements this past season. Tickets are $10 and include lunch with various team and school awards being distributed. The banquet will take place on Thursday June 9 at the beginning of first lunch. Please see Mr. Flynn in the PE office to purchase your ticket. 

Attention all cheerleaders who tried out on Thursday: thank you to everyone who tried out.  The team has been posted outside of the phys Ed office. All girls who made the team are asked to come to an important but brief meeting in room 255 tomorrow morning at 8:40. Thanks from the coaches. 

There will be a Music Ministry practice beginning at 11:35am today in the music room, room #147

Yesterday the junior and senior boys rugby team both achievedCWOSSA gold. The junior team finished their season with only two losses and this CWOSSA gold is the first in school history for any Junior Rugby team. The coaches are proud of them and their incredible season. The seniors now advance to the OFSSA championships which will be held in Coburg next Thursday Friday and Saturday where they will be competing alongside the beat schools in our province. Congrats Boys!!!

Will all senior boys rugby players come down to the gym right away for an important OFSSA rugby meeting.

Grade 12 Grads.  Last chance to sign up in Guidance for next week's workshop with a Counsellor from Employment Services.  A Career Counsellor will be coming next Tuesday to meet with students looking for full-time employment after graduation.  They can offer assistance with job searches, resume writing, and interview support.  There are funds to help you with work equipment, training and uniforms.  Please sign up today!

Here is a chance to do some community service in the area of Holy Trinity.  Help is needed this Saturday morning to move a disabled adult from a basement.  You would be lifting boxes and carrying items up a flight of stairs.  Please see Miss Aitken in Guidance if you are able to help for a couple of hours.
