Attention Titans!
Are you looking for an adventure? Do you like science? Then we have the March Break trip of a lifetime for you! Spend 9 days with Mrs. Bouw and Mr. Peixoto in beautiful Costa Rica. Explore the biodiversity of lush rainforests, snorkel above a coral reef, view the beautiful landscapes of Costa Rica and Panama on a STEM and biodiversity excursion through EF tours! The sign up sheet is now in the main office! Priority will go to the students that are going to be in Grade 12 Next year, followed by Grade 11's. Check out the fliers that will be posted around the school by the end of the week!

Attention students interested in Health Care!
If you are interested in attending the Health Expo at Conestoga College on Tuesday, April 30th, please sign up outside the door of room 246.
There will be a bus provided to go to this health expo! Priority will be given to SHSM students first- but after that- anyone is able to attend!
We will leave Trinity at 8:45am and be back around 1:30pm. There is no cost for this trip!

There is a mandatory meeting today at lunch in room 246 for all students attending the Air Ornge SHSM event next Wednesday, April 10th, 2024. The meeting should only take 5-10 minutes. Please bring your signed permission forms. Thank you!

Miss Robinson and Ms. Noonan would like to acknowledge all the writers who submitted their short stories to the Laurier Steadman Prize, a short fiction writing contest. The writers are:
Mattheo Ernst for his dark, horror tale, "A Family Dinner"; Carley Barnes for her detective story with a surprising twist, "The Reality of Perfection"; Isabelle Saudade for her raw, emotional memoir, "Shattered Glass and A Broken Heart"; Vince Timothy Tongol for his gripping portrait of "The Angry Man".
These writers are all eligible to win the first prize of $3,500!
Good luck writers! We are keeping our fingers crossed for you!
The Society of Starving Writers meets every Thursday at lunch in 211. Bring a notebook and come write with us!

Attention football players.
If you were a member on this years varsity championship football team can you please come down to the small gym tomorrow at lunch for a meeting.
Don’t forget about your training this morning! Mrs. Bouw will also have permission forms for the Air Ornge trip on April 10th for you to bring home. If you have committed to attend this trip please bring in permission form by Thursday April 4th!

A reminder to all grade 12 students – The Community service hours forms with a detailed description of completed hours for non-profit organizations must be submitted this week. Diplomas need to be ordered and therefore hours must be completed. Please bring your hours to guidance before the end of the week or see your guidance counsellor if this is not possible.
There's a very important music ministry practice in the music room (room 147) over lunch today.
Bible study this week is moved to Wednesday over lunch in the chapel.

Any students interested in trying out for the girls soccer team to next two tryouts are Monday and Thursday after school. Final cuts will be made after Thursday. If you have any questions see Mrs. Haak in room 212.

Grade 12's - there are many scholarship opportunities available and can be viewed using the QR code and/or the scholarship board in guidance. Due April 30th, the Chelsea Addison Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student entering the mental health field or has suffered a mental health challenge. Interested students are asked to complete the application form by April 30th.

Congratulations to the HT Girls hockey team making it to the quarter finals at the OFSAA girls hockey Championships! The coaches wish all the graduating players the best of luck in the future. It was a great season and the coaches are very proud of the teams efforts.
A special thank you goes out to Mr. Backus and the principals and Mrs McCallum for their help in organizing the great experience for the team. Looking forward to another great season next year!!

Delhi skating club is looking for volunteers this Saturday to help run their annual carnival. Please see Ms Hanson asap if you are interested!
Students on spare will use the Drop-In computers only.
Classes that have the computer lab booked have priority.
If you plan to spend your time playing games, please do not come to the library because the computers are for school work only.
