The HT STEAM (Science) Club will be meeting after school today in Room 243 for our final activities of the year.  UV detection bracelets and Roman Candles (fireworks) are on the agenda.

The library is now for quiet study only.  Students are finishing CCAs and Grade 12s are studying for exams.  They need a quiet place to do their work.

The deadline to apply for summer school with our school board is June 16th.  Please see Guidance asap if you are planning on summer school!

The 4th Annual Blood, Sweat, and Cheers event is right around the corner!  Come out Saturday, June 17th at Powell Park in Port Dover from 9am to 2pm.  Sign up in guidance to volunteer or enter a team for the 5km fun run in Port Dover.  All proceeds raised will go towards both Port Dover elementary schools.

Hey Titans!  The Athletic Banquet is fast approaching.  Come out and celebrate the HT Athletics Program from 11:00am to 12:30pm on Tuesday, June 6th.  Tickets are only $10.00 which includes a catered meal by Chef Karen, a gift, and a chance to win door prizes.  Go to the Phys-Ed office to get your tickets today!

Reminder to Grade 12 students that the application for the Smitiuch Injury Law Scholarship is due today.  Please come to guidance for an application.  You do not have to be pursuing a career in law - It just requires involvement in extracurricular activities.

Senior students; have you ever thought about to helping those who have been devastated by a natural disaster? If you have this passion, then next year's mission trip is for you!  The tentative location for this year's mission trip is Columbia, South Carolina to help in the relief of damage caused by flash flooding.  If you are interested, please pick up an application form from Ms Maxin in the Coop Office. Spots are very limited, so apply as soon as possible. Applications are due today!

All are welcome to the HT STEAM Science Club meeting today after school in Room 243.  The focus will be on innovations with light-sensitive materials and testing the durability of concrete pucks.

Hey Titans! Are you looking for a way to get your volunteer hours this summer while gaining some great leadership skills? Waterford Heritage and Agriculture Museum is a busy place and we are looking for help! We are currently planning our children's summer camp for ages 5-11 and we are need of volunteers that enjoy working with youth. Waterford Heritage and Agriculture Museum is a busy place and we are looking for help! We are currently planning our children's summer camp for ages 5-11 and we are need of volunteers that enjoy working with youth. The Simcoe Chamber of Commerce  is looking to hire a summer student  for 8 weeks  through a  government grant.   They are looking for a Grade 12 student, who has graduated by the end of June.  The student must be  already accepted in a college /university program in September.  The student needs to be well orientated to the computer.  This includes Twitter, Facebook  etc.  Students can submit their resumes at the Chamber of Commerce,  95 Queensway, Simcoe Ontario . They may contact Yvonne Dipietro,  General Manager of the Chamber of Commerce, in  person.

Junior Football practice for today has been cancelled and we will resume practices next week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in preparation for our tournament on Thursday.  Players are reminded that if they still are missing any pieces of equipment to go see Mr. Flynn some time today to get that resolved.
