Any students who have not already registered with the Military but are interested in applying for the all day Military co-op program for 2nd semester, Please see Michelle Burnie in guidance by Wed. Oct. 19th.
Volunteers are needed to help the Norfolk General Hospital with a fundraiser being held at the Aud on the Norfolk Fairgrounds. More details can be found in guidance board on the Community Service Bulletin Board.
Holy Trinity is doing an event this Halloween called Titans Scare Hunger and we need people to go door to door on Halloween, but instead of having adults groan and ask how old you are for showing up at their door, you can go around with a group of friends and ask if they would be able to donate to the local St. Vincent de Paul. To participate in the Titans Scare Hunger event this Halloween, we will have an important information meeting at the start of lunch TODAY in Mrs. D'Hulster's room 155.
Cross country runners please see Ms. Deconinck O'Neail in guidance sometime today to confirm participation and rides for Wednesdays cross country meet in Brantford. Good luck runners!!
Any students interested in Swim Team should come to guidance today and pick up a package to go home. Practices will start on Friday.

Do you really want to go out for Halloween, but think you are too old? You are in luck! Holy Trinity is doing an event this Halloween called Titans Scare Hunger and we need people to go door to door on Halloween, but instead of having adults groan and ask how old you are for showing up at their door, you can go around with a group of friends and ask if they would be able to donate to the local St. Vincent de Paul. A reminder to check the Honour Roll lists outside the main office by the end of the day today. If your name is not on the list and you think it should be please see Mrs. Lewis in the main office.
Shout-out to the boys volleyball team who, after losing the first set, won 3 straight beating Valley Heights. The coaches are really proud of how well everyone encouraged one another to maintain a positive headspace to come from behind more that once to take a set. See you bright and early Monday morning for practice.
Last night the Senior Boys Volleyball team played against Valley Heights. The boys came out strong and ready to play. Even with a few hiccups, the boys were able to rally together and come out with a 3-1 victory. Shoutout goes to Nick Weiler who had some unbelievable kills and Gryffin Townsend who sealed the win with a killer jump serve. Well done boys!
The boys are reminded of their next practice Monday morning at 7:15 am.
The senior girls kicked it off with a win of 51-20. Every girl on the team contributed with at least two points for the win. Shoutouts to Katie Earle, Haley Vanmaele, Emma-Jay Broer, Abbey Benaway, Victoria Ostia-Estevez, Teagan Vanrooy and Sophia Correia.
The junior girls continued the streak of wins against Valley with a score of 31-18. All of the junior girls chipped in a minimum of two as well. Shoutouts to Addi Kilpatrick, Seleena Grey, Gabbie Moore, Maeve Suprun, Parker Lennox, Aaliyah Hoover, Jenna Smith.
Good work titans! Practice after school on Monday.

Volunteers are needed to help with the KidZone at Pumpkinfest this weekend in Waterford. They are looking for high school students to help from 10 to 4 on both Saturday and Sunday. Please see the bulletin board in Guidance if you can help.
Thanks to all students who picked up their homecraft items yesterday. Any unclaimed items have been placed on the tables outside the main office and will be there for pickup until this Friday. Students with winning ribbons can pick up their prize money in the main office.
If someone picked-up a pop-up holiday card by mistake, please bring back to room 211 asap. Thank you!
Grade 12 University English students interested in seeing Hamlet at the Stratford Festival, please see Miss Lopes or Mrs. Stenhouse for a permission form. The performance is on Wednesday, October 26th and is only available for the first semester.
The Honour Roll list for the 21-22 School Year is now posted outside the main office. Please check the list and if your name is not on the list but you think you should be please speak to Mrs. Lewis in the main office. Please remember you are checking for your name in the Grade list for your last year's grade.

A huge thank you to everyone who brought in items last week for the St. Vincent de Paul Thanksgiving Food Drive! Congratulations to Mrs. Sullivan, Mrs. Gillis Zytariuk and Mrs. Revai's Room 160, 165 & 166 who tied for first Place and to Mr. Moore's Grade 9 Religion who took second.
Games Club is happening daily at lunch in room #149. If you have any questions about this club, chat with Chap Ian for more info.

Mr. Chernak would like to thank all who came out to cheer on our Director of Education Michael McDonald as he raced the HT derby car Tuesday night in the figure 8 races.
The coaches want to praise the efforts of the Jr. Boys volleyball team who lost a hard-fought battle against SCS last night. They didn't come away with the win but showed incredible improvement from their last game and the coaches are looking forward to see even more growth from each player. See you Tuesday after school for our next practice!

Tomorrow is the last day to bring in food items for the St. Vincent de Paul. Points will be tallied, and prizes awarded next week to the two classes that brought in the most items. Thank you to everyone who contributed to event so far! Members of the Social Justice Club will be coming around after announcements to collect today’s contributions.
Please dismiss the Senior boys volleyball team at 2pm to get ready for their game at SCS. Any players taking the van need to be out front by 2:10.
Please excuse members of the Sr. Girls Basketball Team at 2:15 Thursday in preparation for their game against SCS. The girls are undefeated in the regular season. Come by and show your support!

The Saint Vincent de Paul is looking to restock their shelves this Thanksgiving and The Holy Trinity community has always stepped up in a huge way each year to help. Next week Wednesday-Friday, students are encouraged to bring in canned goods to their homerooms which will be collected and given to the Norfolk St. Vincent de Paul. Your homeroom teachers have a list of items to bring in if you are unsure. There will be a delicious prize for the top 2 homerooms.
Do you enjoy board games or card games? If so, The HT daily games club has started - you can come enjoy the fun over lunch in Room #149 each day of the week.
The senior boys had their first game of the season again Delhi. They showed great determination and team work throughout each set. After a few small hiccups the boys got vocal and pumped up and ended up on top! Great first win boys!
The senior girls basketball team defeated Cayuga last night with a score of 68-23. Top scorers were Joanna Smith, Charli Thornewell and Emma-Jay Broer. All girls played well and contributed to the win.
Senior and junior practice next Monday after school.
The titans golf team played in the AABHN tournament yesterday.
Jack Millard had an impressive score of 72 to win the Open division.
St. John’s beat HT in the overall team event by 5 strokes.
Players will head to CWOSSA next week in Cambridge
