Morning Announcements

Friday, December 1, 2017

The girls hockey team battled great yesterday beating St John's and Hagersville in their tournament at the Gretzky Centre. The girls Woodstock 1-1 but lost to St. Max in the final 5-2.  The coaches are very proud of the great team effort! An awesome start to the season! Nice work girls!

Attention members of the Boys Hockey Team.  There will be a short meeting at the beginning of lunch today in Room 242 (Mr. VanParys room). The meeting will only be about 5 minutes. Be sure to attend.

For the second year in a row, the Holy Trinity Swim Team won the Blue Trojan Swim Meet held yesterday in Brantford.  All swimmers contributed to the overall win, but a special mention has to go to our Junior Boys who raked in the points and helped us capture gold.  Congratulations to Xander Zona who placed first in ALL of his individual events.  He was followed closely by Blake Vermeersch with two firsts and a third.  The coaches are so proud of all the athletes...and are excited by this start to the competitive season. Way to go Titans!

Yesterday the senior reach team competed in their first tournament of the year in Hamilton.  Competition was intense but the Titans were up to the challenge in all of their matches, with several matches coming down to the last question, or even a nail biting tie breaker, to decide a winner.   Our team finished 7th out of 12 teams and are eager to start prepping for their next tournament in February.  Great job Titans!
