Attention all Agriculture SHSM or Agriculture Club members!  Please stop by Room 145 tomorrow at lunch to either pick up a permission form for our trip on November 7th to the Royal Winter Fair or to talk with Mrs. D'Hulster about attending the trip.

On Wednesday, November 1st the French Club will be meeting after school in the foods room to prepare and eat traditional French cuisine with chef. Any students who wish to attend must RSVP with Monsieur Flanagan by this Friday in Room 146. New members are always welcome.

Fair Parking Volunteer Hours are posted in Guidance.  Please check your hours to make sure they are correct and let Miss Aitken know if some are missing.  They will be entered today so make sure to come today to check.

Because of the Academic Awards, there will not be a Concert Band rehearsal tomorrow.

Just a reminder that the rehearsal for our Academic Awards Ceremony will occur tomorrow (Wednesday) during period 2.  Students will be called to the lower cafeteria.

There will be a cross country practice today and tomorrow at 3:15pm.  CWOSSA will be in Waterloo on Thursday.

HOBY leadership seminars are three day events held in the spring.  HOBY's purpose is to bring together a select group of high school students who have demonstrated leadership ability so that they can interact with groups of distinguished leaders to discuss present and future issues.  Applications are available in Guidance!!

Just a reminder that the members of the Healthy Schools Committee are to meet in Room 239 today at lunch.

Attention members of the Cross Country Team.  There will be a short meeting today at the beginning of lunch today in Room 251.  Mr. Van De Wiele needs to finalize runners that will compete in CWOSSA on Thursday.  There will be practices this week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 3:15pm.  CWOSSA will be in Waterloo on Thursday.

Students who have borrowed uniform, please return them washed to guidance by the end of the week so you don’t lose the next dress down day.

Love writing stories:  Here is a contest for grade 11 and 12 students.  Laurier Stedman Prize is sponsoring a short story writing contest.  All entries are to be 1500 words, and are due on November 27th.  Cash prizes can be won.  If you are interested in participating, please see Mrs. Lauriault in Room 212 during lunch for all details.

Today is our Titans Tackle Hunger football buyout. Students are to report to period 4 for attendance with their canned goods or money.  Good luck to our football team.  Go Titans Go! 

Are you looking for volunteer hours?  Do you like dirt bikes?  Do you live near Gopher Dunes?  This Saturday Langton Minor Hockey is in need of 10 volunteers to flag the races at Gopher Dunes.  Please come see Ms. Deroo before noon today if you are interested!

The Junior Girls Basketball Team beat Delhi 19-17 on Thursday in a very hard fought game against a tough Delhi team.  Katie Mitchell had 11 points and Noella Michaud had a fantastic game on defense. The girls remain undefeated with a record of 5-0.  The girls play next on Tuesday at home against Valley Heights and on Thursday at home against SCS.

The Junior Boys Volleyball Team played last night against the first place team, Delhi. Despite starting strong they lost in game 5 by a score of 15-13. Standout players were Guerrin Greenfield, Caelan Cunningham and Joel Storoschuk.

The Senior Boys Volleyball Team played hard against Delhi yesterday but were defeated. Standout players were Jordan Hoover and Derek Toth. Please see Ms. Shannelly or Ms. Gallant if you do not have a schedule to Monday's Tournament.
