Attention Swim Team members:  Reminder that practices are continuing Friday and Tuesdays after school.  We will see you at the pool tonight at 3:3o.

 

A reminder to grade 12 students who are applying to post-secondary for a September start:  the equal consideration deadline to apply for University is fast approaching — January 15th.  For college applications the equal consideration deadline is February 1st.  Please also keep your eyes on the Guidance Brightspace page as there are many scholarship opportunities available.

"Attention Holy Trinity musicians, if you are a member of the Holy Trinity Intermediate Band, congratulations, you have graduated, and you are now a member of the Holy Trinity Concert Band! Practices will now be Wednesday nights from 3-430. Attention Holy Trinity singers, if you are interested in joining the Holy Trinity Vocal Ensemble, our first practice is in the music room (room 147) this Thursday from 3-430. Please see Mr. Webster if you have any questions, comments, or concerns."

The boys are reminded of their next game tomorrow against BCI at 1:00 pm at the Gretzky Centre in Brantford.

Attention Grade 9s! After school tutoring is now open 4 days a week! Tutoring will run Mondays to Thursdays until exams begin. The final day of after school tutoring for this semester will be Wednesday, January 22nd. See Ms Fry in TLC to sign up! (Run this announcement until Wednesday)

Congratulations to the girls ice hockey team for their wins yesterday against SCS and Hagersville in league play. The coaches are proud of the teams efforts! The coaches wish the team a Merry Christmas! 


 

The Varsity Boys Hockey Team played their fourth and fifth game of the regular season this week.

The Boys first played undefeated McKinnon Park earning a tie by the score of 1-1.

In their second game, the boys played Delhi, also earning a tie by the score of 3-3.

 

The team goes into the new year undefeated and with a record of 3 wins, 0 losses and 2 ties.

 

The coaches are proud of the boy’s early success to the season and look forward to continuing this after the Christmas Break.

 

Congrats boys and enjoy the well-deserved break.

Wednesday, December 18th, 2024

The Sr. Girls Volleyball team went undefeated in the tournament yesterday winning all 8 sets. Amazing serving streaks from Rachel Rodgers and Addie Kilpatrick as well as some amazing hits and blocks from our middles, Brenna Whitney, Aaliyah Hurley and Lucy Dewaard. You all played so well, we'll give you the next 2 weeks off. 

 

The Rosary will be prayed in the Chapel at lunch today starting at 11:55am. It will be offered up in thanksgiving for our school community and all we did to support our Giving Tree Families this year.

 

The final Music Ministry practice of 2024 will be tomorrow at lunch in the Music Room.

 

Attention holiday book readers! We'll be meeting today in the library, at lunch, for cocoa!

Hey Titans! This Christmas we are making Christmas cards in the library for our seniors at Simcoe Heritage Retirement Living. This will run on Monday December 16th at lunch, supplies will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own supplies too. Again, this activity will run on the Library. Information posted on library doors. Hope to see you there.

Wednesday, December 11th, 2024

The Varsity Boys Hockey Team played their second game of the season yesterday and defeated a good St. John’s team by the score of 2-1.

The game was scoreless going into the third period when Taylor Harding opened the scoring at the 6-minute mark.

Unfortunately, St. John’ s tied the game a minute later, but Taylor Harding scored yet again with 30 seconds left to give the Titans the victory.

 

Honorable mention to goaltender Hudson Chambers, who played outstanding in the crease, keeping the boys in the entire game, and securing the win.

 

The boys are reminded of their next game this Thursdayagainst Paris at 2:00 pm at the Brant Sports Complex.

The senior boys basketball team beat SCS in a scrappy game last night with a score 69-51. 

Top scorers wereTrey D’Hondt with 21, Nerraud Thomas with 20, Mike Demaiter with 13 and KJ Stronks with 12. 

The boys head to Delhi on Thursday for their next game. Good luck Titans! 

 

The Weekly Rosary during Advent will be prayed in the Chapel today starting at 11:55 (the 2nd half of lunch). All are welcome!

 

There will be a music ministry practice in the music room (room 147) tomorrow over lunch - the Christmas liturgy is coming up next week !

Attention all holiday book enthusiasts, see you today at lunch, in the library. For cocoa and book chats. Ms. McColeman has a few extra mugs if you forgot yours. 

 

The girls' volleyball teams had an incredible night against Valley Heights! The junior girls dominated with a sweeping 3-0 victory, showcasing amazing sets from Izzy Girad and Addie Wright. The senior team also delivered an impressive performance, winning 3-0 with powerful hits from Addie Kilpatrick and Brenna Whitney. Fantastic communication on the court, ladies! Best of luck to the junior girls as they head into their tournament at Waterford today!

 

The Varsity Boys Hockey Team started their season in winning fashion defeating North Park by the score of 7-1.

The boys played a complete game with a balanced attack and was capped off with outstanding goaltending by Hudson Chambers.

 

The boys had seven different goal scorers which included:

Attention  students age 15-17

Rotarians across Canada are making it  possible for 50 young people who care about the future to meet and share ideas and friendships.

This year in Wolfville Nova Scotia in April.  This Conference is an opportunity for 25 Indigenous and 25 non Indigenous young people from across Canada to gather and share ideas and experiences.  All costs covered by the program so no cost to the young person.

If you are interested in more information, there is a poster on the counter in guidance with the QR code for the website. 

 Deadline to apply is December 20 but earlier applications would be appreciated.
